千葉市動物公園に「チーターラン」を見に行ってきました。　I went to Chiba City Zoological Park to see “Cheetah Run”.

会社を午後から休んで千葉市動物公園に「チーターラン」を見に行ってきました。

2/9に行われた「カロリーナを送る会」に仕事を優先にしたため行けなかったことにとても後悔したので、今回は「チーターラン」を見に行くことにしました。

「チーターラン」は平日にもかかわらずたくさんのファンが見に来ており、それなりに盛り上がっていました。

たった1回限りの10秒程度のランですが、見ていてとてもエキサイティングで楽しい経験でした。
今日走ったチーターはフラッシュでした。

実際はフィン、フロド、フラッシュの仲良し3兄弟が同時にスタートするようですが、真剣に走るのはフラッシュだけだそうです。

因みにフロドは全く走らず、フィンは少しだけ走るそぶりを見せるだけだそうです。

その後飼育員さんに話を聞いたところ、雄のチーターは走るのが遅いそうです。

メスのチーターは真剣に追いかけるのでとても速いそうです。

その時速は50ｋｍ/ｈだそうです。（カロリーナは速いそうです）

本来野生のチーターは調べたところ80～130ｋｍ/ｈ出るそうですが、千葉市動物公園の「チーターラン」は狭いのでスピードが出せないそうです。

因みに今回のフラッシュのランは40ｋｍ/ｈ出ていたかどうかくらいだそうです。

楽しい「チーターラン」でしたが、実は今回もっと感激したことが有りました。

それは前回お別れの会に行くことができなくて、とても後悔していた「カロリーナ」に会うことができたことです。

「チーターラン」の後に「カロリーナ」出てきた時はとてもテンションが上がりました。

そして会社を午後から休んで来たかいがあったなと、切に感じました。

「カロリーナ」は鳥インフルエンザの影響で移動を見合わせていたのは知ってましたが、目の前に現れるとは思っていなかったのでとても嬉しかったです。

4月にも「チーターラン」があるので「また来ようかな！」と思いました。

I regretted not being able to go to the “Farewell Party for Carolina” held on February 9 because I was prioritizing work, so I decided to go see “Cheetah Run” this time.

Many fans came to see “Cheetah Run” even though it was a weekday, and it was quite exciting.

It was a one-time run of about 10 seconds, but it was a very exciting and fun experience to watch.

The cheetah that ran today was Flash.

In fact, three friendly Cheetah brothers named Finn, Frodo, and Flash will start at the same time.

But Flash is the only cheetah who takes it seriously. By the way, Frodo doesn’t run at all, and Finn only pretends to run a little bit.

After that, when I talked to the keeper, it seems that male cheetahs run slowly.

It seems that female cheetahs are very fast because they chase seriously.

Its speed is 50km/h.　(Carolina seems to be fast)

According to research, cheetahs in the wild can reach 80 to 130 km/h, but the “cheetah run” at the Chiba City Zoological Park is narrow, so they can’t speed it up.

It was a fun “Cheetah Run”, but there was actually something that impressed me more this time.

It was that I was able to meet “Carolina” who I regretted so much that I couldn’t go to the farewell party last time.

When “Carolina” came out after “Cheetah Run”, I was very excited.

And I really felt that it was worth taking a break from work in the afternoon.

I knew that “Carolina” had to postpone the move due to the bird flu, but I was very happy because I didn’t expect it to appear in front of me.

Since there is “Cheetah Run” in April, I thought, “I should come again!”
