大阪に行ってきました。（1）I went to Osaka.（1）

今年は還暦で厄年にあたるので、厄落としとパワーを貰いに、大阪の行って太陽の塔を見てきました。太陽の塔は、1970年に開催された大阪万博のシンボルとして建設されました。
その斬新なデザインに当時小学6年生だった僕は魅了され、いつか必ず実際の目で見てみたいと思うようになりました。
しかしその後しばらくは思い出すこともなかったのですが、近年リニューアルして、昨年から一般公開されていることを知ってからは、この日が来るのをとても楽しみにしていました。
万博記念公園駅を降りてから、高速道路越しに太陽の塔が見えた時のときめきは、今でも鮮烈に残っています。
そして、公園内に入り目の前に太陽の塔を見た時は、長年夢に描いていた光景を実感することが出来て、とても感激しました。
1970年当時、作家の岡本太郎がCMで「芸術は爆発だ！」と言ってましたが、当時はその意味が理解できませんでした。
しかし50年の時を経て太陽の塔に触れた時におぼろげながら理解できた気がしました。
This year is a bad year for my 60th birthday, so I went to Osaka to get the power and saw the Tower of the Sun for escape from evil.
The Tower of the Sun was built as a symbol of the 1970 Osaka Expo.
I was fascinated by the novel and new design at that time as a sixth grader, and I always wanted to see it with real eyes.
However, I haven’t remembered it for a while, but after renewing it in recent years and knowing that it has been open to the public since last year, I’ve been really looking forward to this day coming.
When I got off the Expo Memorial Park Station and saw the tower of the Sun over the highway, the crush remains vivid even today.
When I entered the park and saw the Tower of the Sun in front of me, I was really impressed by the sight I had dreamed of for many years.
In 1970, the writer Taro Okamoto said in a commercial, “Art is an explosion!” At that time I could not understand the meaning.
However, when I touched the tower of the sun after 50 years, I felt like I could understand it while being dim.
