今年も気象神社に行こうと思います。　I’m thinking of going to the Meteorological Shrine again this year.

去年北海道ツーリングに行く前に気象神社に行ってきました。

北海道ツーリングには雨が付き物なので、少しでも雨に合わないようにお参りした訳です。

気象神社は天気を司る神社で、高円寺の駅近くにあります。

今年の10月に九州ツーリングの計画を建てていますが、ツーリングの間良い天気に恵まれるように祈願してきました。

実は年初の会社の帰りに気象神社に行ったのですが、時間が遅かったためお参りすることができませんでした。

そこで九州に行く前に何としてもお参りしたいと思っています。

写真は気象神社の「手水舎」です。

去年行った時は朝早かったので、「手水舎」の水は流れていませんでしたが、花が活けてありとても綺麗でした。

＊「手水舎（てみずや）」とは、神社で参拝者が身と心を清める場所のことです。

９月になったら出発の1カ月前となりフェリーの予約をしなければなりません。

考えただけで緊張してきました。

10月は台風による天気の崩れも少なくなるので、8月～9月に行くより安心です。

しかし今回の九州ツーリングも10日間で2000ｋｍ以上走る予定なので、せもて雨は降らないで欲しいなと思います。

御利益が有るかどうかは、今後レポートしたいと思います。

Last year, I went to Meteorological Shrine before going on a tour of Hokkaido.

Rain is an inevitable part of touring Hokkaido, so I visited the shrine to avoid getting caught in the rain as much as possible.

The Meteorological Shrine is a shrine that governs the weather and is located near Koenji Station.

I am planning a Kyushu tour in October of this year, and I have been praying for good weather during the trip.

Actually, I went to Meteorological Shrine on my way home from work at the beginning of the year, but it was too late and I wasn’t able to pray.

So I would like to visit the shrine no matter what before I go to Kyushu.

The photo shows the Chozuya “temizuya” at Meteorological Shrine.

*A “temizuya” is a place in a shrine where worshippers can purify their body and mind.

Once September arrives, it’s one month until departure and we have to make reservations for the ferry to Kyushu.

Just thinking about it made me nervous.

There is less risk of bad weather due to typhoons in October, so it is safer than going in August or September.

However, this Kyushu tour is planned to cover over 2,000 km in 10 days, so I hope it doesn’t rain.

I will report in the future on whether this shrine has any benefits or not.
