グーグルの翻訳アプリは便利ですよ！　The Google translation app is very useful!

先月九州に向かうフェリーの中でスイス出身の外国人とお酒を飲みながら話す機会がありました。

その外人さんの名前は忘れてしまいましたが、スイス語、ドイツ語、英語・・など5か国語を話すそうです。

そしてその外人さんは石垣島でダイビングをしたりしながら、日本中を巡っている実に羨ましい人でした。

最初は挨拶や軽い会話だったので、たどたどの英語で何とか話をしていました。

しかしだんだん話す内容が深くなってくると、さっぱり会話ができないし、その外人さんが話をしている内容もさっぱり分かりませんでした。

そこでしびれを切らしたその外人さんが携帯電話取り出して、翻訳アプリを使って会話を始めました。

そしたら相手の話している内容も私に良く伝わり、私の話も良く伝わったのでは話が盛り上がりました。

前置きが長くなりましたが、そこで自分の携帯電話にも翻訳アプリを導入することにしました。

ネットで携帯電話の翻訳アプリをいろいろ調べた結果、やはりGoogleの翻訳アプリが使いやすいし無料なのでお勧めです。

いろいろ携帯電話の翻訳アプリがありましたが、無料で安心して使えるGoogleの翻訳アプリが良いなと思いました。

いろいろな翻訳アプリを研究したり、人に聞いたり、時間をかけて探すよりは、先ず無料のGoogleの翻訳アプリを導入して使ってみる方が良いかと思います。

使い方も解説する程ではなく、感覚的に十分操作できます。

正にドラえもんが使っていた「翻訳こんにゃく」とは少し違いますが、使って慣れてみて下さい。

私はパソコンでも簡単に使えるGoogle翻訳を使っていますがとても便利です。

最近街に出れば外国人が溢れていますね。

困ってそうな人がいたら積極的に話しかけてみようと思います。

That was a long introduction, but I decided to install a translation app on my mobile phone.

After researching various mobile phone translation apps online, I found that Google’s translation app is recommended because it’s easy to use and free.

There are many translation apps available for mobile phones, but I found the Google translation app to be the best because it is free and safe to use.

Rather than researching various translation apps, asking people, or spending a lot of time searching, I think it would be better to first install and try using the free Google translation app.

There’s no need to explain how to use it; you can operate it intuitively.

It’s a little different from the “translation konnyaku” that Doraemon used, but give it a try and get used to it.

I use Google Translate, which is easy to use on a computer, and it’s very convenient.
