retiring at the end of March this year, after nearly 40 years at the same company, I\u2019ve been enjoying a leisurely life. <br><br>But from mid-October, I\u2019ve decided to start working again.<br><br>Originally, I planned to work about three days a week. <br><br>However, the job offer I was expecting didn\u2019t come through right away, so I thought I\u2019d spend some time as a casual blogger and YouTuber.<br><br>Oddly enough, even with more free time, I struggled to create blog posts and YouTube videos. I hit a slump.<br><br>Looking back, the six months from April to October were mostly filled with expenses and little income. <br><br>I finally started receiving my pension in September. <br><br>Still, living off my savings alone made me feel uneasy deep down.<br><br>Since I\u2019m still capable of working, I decided to look for a different job until the original offer came through. <br><br>Just as I was about to start a new job, the offer I had been waiting for finally arrived \u2014 and so I resumed working.<br><br>I had intended to take a three-month break before returning to work, but it ended up being twice that. <br><br>Still, those extra months weren\u2019t wasted. I learned a lot.<br><br>Now I feel strongly that I should keep working while I still can. <br><br>Of course, it would be ideal to earn income as a YouTuber or blogger, but until then, I\u2019ll focus on the work I can do.<br><br>Having income beyond my pension brings peace of mind and stability. <br><br>I turned 66 this year, and I hope to keep going for another ten years \u2014 or rather, I aim
