少し後悔しています。　I regret it a little.

さくらと過ごした約19年間とても幸せでした。

さくらが小さい時は可愛い自分の子供として、少し大きくなったら子供たちの良き友達として、大人になったら私たちの良き相談相手としてよく働いてくれました。

そして自らの死を持って命の尊さを私たちに教えてくれました。

さくらの最後の仕事は頑張ってご飯を食べること…

今思うと辛い仕事をさせてしまったなと反省しています。

でもどんなに長く生きてもこれで十分だとなかなか思えなくて、無理やりご飯を食べさせてしまいました。

さくらへの想いは尽きませんが、悲しむのはこれくらいにしてまた前を向いて歩き出そうと思います。
