兄妹の猫は一緒に育てると良いですよ。It is best to raise brother and sister cats together.

2017/10/2に麦（♂）と椛（♀）の兄妹猫は、母猫の秋とともに我が家の一員になりました。

麦と椛のその頃の推定年齢は2～3ヶ月でした。

母猫の秋もその当時の推定年齢2歳でした。

秋は生まれた翌年に、麦と椛を生んで野良猫生活をしなければならなかったので、とても大変だったと思います。

その当時我が家には4匹の先住猫がいたので、新たに3匹の猫を保護するのは勇気のいる決断でした。

でも今では3匹の親子猫を保護して良かったなと思っています。

特に麦と椛の兄妹はとても仲が良く、一緒に保護できて良かったなと思います。

私の経験では保護猫は1匹でいることが多いので、どこかで親兄弟とはぐれてしまったんでしょうね。

そう思うと少し悲しい気がします。

だから麦と椛が一緒に暮らせることは、とても幸せなことなのだなと感じます。

そして私もそんな麦と椛に癒されています。

On October 2, 2017, brother and sister cats Mugi (male) and Kame (male) became members of our family along with their mother cat Aki.

Mugi and Momiji’s estimated age at that time was 2 to 3 months.

The mother cat, Aki, was also estimated to be 2 years old at the time.

The year after Aki was born, she gave birth to Mugi and Momiji and had to live as a stray cat, so I think it was very difficult for her.

At the time, we had four native cats in our home, so it took a courageous decision to rescue three new cats.

But now we are glad that we rescued the three parent kittens.

In particular, the siblings Mugi and Momiji are very close, and I think it was great that they were able to protect them together.

In my experience, rescue cats are often left alone, so they must have gotten separated from their parents and siblings at some point.

When I think about it, I feel a little lonely.

And I am also healed by Mugi and Momiji.

That’s why I feel so happy that Mugi and Momiji can live together.
