我が家の猫（7）～うみちゃんが家族になる　Cats at my home (7)～Umi-chan becomes a family

2013/8/15の出来事です。

私は母親感謝デーで道の駅和田浦に行きました。

その近くの海の防波堤の消波ブロックの上で海の中にいる魚を見ていた時、視線を感じたので振り向くとそこには小さな子猫がいました。
　
その時偶然に出会った子猫が海ちゃんでした。
（その時の出会いについては冒頭のブログを見て頂けると嬉しいです。）

しかし家にはもう既に4匹の保護猫がいたので、この子猫を連れて帰るか躊躇していました。

すると消波ブロックに波が当たる音がして我に返りました。

もう一刻の猶予がないことは明白でした。

そして海ちゃんは我が家の家族になった訳です。

その時の海ちゃんは生後推定1ヶ月で体長は20ｃｍ、体重は365ｇでした。

This is what happened on August 15, 2013.

I went to Wadaura Roadside Station on Mother Appreciation Day.

When I was watching the fish in the sea on the wave-dissipating block of the sea breakwater nearby, I felt someone looking at me, so I turned around and saw a small kitten there.

The kitten I happened to meet at that time was Umi-chan.

However, since we already had four rescue cats at home, I was hesitant about taking this kitten home.

Then I heard the sound of waves hitting the wave-dissipating block and came back to my senses.

It was clear there was no time left.

And Umi-chan became part of our family.

At that time, Umi-chan was estimated to be one month old, 20 cm long, and weighed 365 g.
