我が家の猫（13）～黒猫ヒューマ　Cats at my home (13)～Black Cat Huma

2018/2/1マンションのメールボックスの上でうずくまる黒猫を発見しました。

最初はどこかの家猫が迷い込んだのだと思い様子を見ていたのですが、動く気配はありませんでした。

私は家にはその当時7匹の猫がいたので、この黒猫を家に連れて帰ることを躊躇してしまいました。

その黒い猫はずっと寝ていて動かなかったことと、夜も更けてきて寒くなってきたので、段ボールを用意して黒猫の隣に置きました。

そしてその段ボール中にペットボトルにお湯を入れてタオルで巻いたものを2本と食べ物を入れて、ひとまず引き上げることにした。

翌日私は仕事に出かけたのですが、黒猫はその後段ボールの中で寝ていたらしいことと、元気そうだとと連絡を受けたので安心しました。

その後黒猫は里親が見つかり一度はその家で1週間程飼われたのですが、その人は黒猫を外で放し飼いをしていることが分かったので再度引き取ることにしました。

そこで黒猫を掛かりつけのとことん動物病院に連れて行きました。

そして雄猫で生後1年程度であることが分かりました。

また意外な事実が分かり困惑してしまいました。

その黒猫は猫エイズでした。

そしてそのことを猫の保護活動をしている友人に相談したところ、快く黒猫を引き取ってくれました。

その後黒猫はヒューマと名付けられてその友人の家に引き取られました。

On February 1, 2018, I discovered a black cat curled up on top of a mailbox in my apartment building.

At first, I thought it was a wandering house cat, so I watched it closely, but there was no sign of it moving.

I was hesitant to bring this black cat home because I already had seven cats at home at the time.

The black cat had been sleeping and not moving, and as it was getting late into the night and cold, I got a cardboard box and placed it next to the black cat.

I then put two plastic bottles filled with hot water and wrapped in towels, along with some food, into the cardboard box and decided to leave there for the time being.

The next day, I went to work and was relieved to hear that the black cat had been sleeping in the cardboard box and seemed to be doing well.

After that, the black cat was found to have a foster home and was kept in that home for about a week, but it turned out that the owner was letting the cat run loose outside, so I decided to take the black cat in again.

So I took the black cat to my regular veterinarian, who told me it was a male and about a year old.

I was also confused by another unexpected fact.

The black cat had feline AIDS.

I then discussed the matter with a friend who works in cat rescue, and the friend agreed to take in the black cat.

The black cat was then named Huma and taken in by the friend.
