その後黒猫はヒューマは「ぽちんち（妻の友人）」に引き取られました。
ヒューマは猫エイズだったこともあり慣れた人に育てられることになり少し安心しました。
正直なところ自分で育てることに自信がなかったので「ぽちんち」で引き取ってもらってホッとしました。
そんなことがあって半年ほど経ったある日のこと…
「ぽちんち」のぽちさんから私の妻にヒューマが亡くなった旨連絡がありました。
命日は2018/8/6とのことでした。
あとからぽちさんのブログを見て分かったことですが、ヒューマはフィラリアに感染していたようです。
ヒューマの体調不良に気が付くのが遅かったことにぽちさんは何度も妻に詫びていたそうです。
その時ヒューマの早すぎる訃報にあんまり実感が湧きませんでした。
しかしぽちさんのブログにはたくさんのヒューマの写真が掲載されており、ぽちさんにとても可愛がれていたことが分かりました。
そして私はそのブログのヒューマのたくさんの写真やコメントを見て涙が溢れてきました。
ぽちさん本当にありがとうございました。
ヒューマの命は短かったけど、ヒューマはとても幸せだったと思います。
とても満足していたと思います。
私はヒューマに愛情を注ぐことができませんでしたが、ヒューマはぽちさんに可愛がられて、たくさんの愛を戴いて虹の橋を渡って行きました。

To be honest, I wasn’t confident about raising a Huma on my own, so I was relieved when 「Pochinchi」 took it in.
One day, about six months after that happened…
Pochi from “Pochinchi” contacted my wife to inform her that Huma had passed away.
The date of death was August 6, 2018.
I later found out from Pochi’s blog that Huma seemed to be infected with filariasis.
Pochi apparently apologized to his wife many times for not noticing Huma’s poor health in a timely manner.
At the time, the news of Huma’s untimely passing didn’t really sink in for me.
However, there were many photos of Huma on Pochi’s blog, and it was clear that Pochi loved Huma very much.
And I was moved to tears when I saw so many of Huma’s photos and comments on that blog.
Thank you so much Pochi san.
Although Huma’s life was short, I think he was very happy.
I think Huma was very happy.
I wasn’t able to show Huma any love, but he was loved by Pochi and passed away with lots of love.
