海と秋は仲が良くありません。　Umi and Aki don’t get along.

海も秋も同じゾーンで過ごしていますが、ある一定の距離以下に近づくとお互いに威嚇します。

今回の写真では秋がゲージの中に居るので、秋はリラックスしていますが、海は少し面白くないようです。

そして秋はゲージの中でゴロンゴロンし始めると、海は固まってしまいました。

Umi and Aki spend their time in the same zone, but they threaten each other when they get closer than a certain distance.

In this photo, Aki is in her cage and looks relaxed, but Umi looks a little amused.

Then when Aki started rolling around in her cage, Umi froze up.

秋はゲージの中が安全だと思っているかどうかは分かりませんが、更にゲージの中から手を出してきました。

I’m not sure if Aki thought it was safe inside the cage, but she started poking her hands out from inside the cage.

そこで私はその先海と秋がケンカしないように、海をゲージから引き離しました。

我が家では、海と大が仲が悪く一緒のゾーンに居ることができないので、家の中をゾーン分けしています。

この話は「毎日ゾーン分けしています。 We zone each day.」に書いていますが、その理由は大が海を攻撃するからです。

大は2～3年去勢せずに雄猫として生きてきたので、ワイルドな一面を持った猫です。

So I pulled Umi away from the cage to stop her and Aki from fighting.

In our house, Umi and Dai don’t get along and can’t be in the same zone, so we have divided the house into zones.

This story is written in “毎日ゾーン分けしています。 We zone each day.“, and the reason is that Dai attacks Umi.

Dai has lived as a male cat for two or three years without being neutered, so he has a wild side to him.

海はワイルドではありませんが、気が強くて我がままなので大とは決定的に合わないのだと思います。

逆に秋は2～3年野良猫として生きてきて、出産して麦と椛を育てワイルドそのものの雌猫ですが、大と同じゾーンに居てもケンカすることはまづありません。

ただし大と秋も近づき過ぎると威嚇することがあります。

猫同士の事情は分かりませんが、不思議ですね。

Umi is not wild, but she is strong-willed and selfish, so I think she is a complete mismatch for Dai.

On the other hand, Aki has lived as a stray for two or three years, giving birth to two kittens, Mugi and Momiji, and is a wild-looking female cat, but even though she is in the same zone as Dai, they rarely fight.

However, Dai and Aki may act intimidating if they get too close.

I don’t know what it is like between cats, but it seems strange.
