大と麦は男同士ですが仲良しです。動きも時々シンクロしています。Dai and Mugi are both boys but they are good friends. Their movements are sometimes synchronized

大は大きくなってから我が家の一員になったので、野性的な面が強く残っていると感じています。

大は2018/6/21に私の住むマンションで迷い猫として現れ、その後娘が保護しました。

その当時獣医の判断で推定3～4歳だったので、誕生日は2014/6/13としました。

大は我が家の住人になった時には成人の雄猫でした。

そしてその当時8匹の猫が我が家に居ましたが、子猫（1歳）の麦を除いた全ての猫が雌猫でした。

従ってそんな中に野生の雄猫だった大を一緒に飼うのは難しいのではないかと危惧していました。

また雄猫同士の大と麦が喧嘩するのではないかと心配しました。

そして案の定大と海の相性が悪いので、ゾーン分けして飼うことになりました。

しかし大と麦については全然問題なかったので、とても安心しました。

大は家に来た当時から、母猫離れしたばかりの麦（♂）と椛（♀）の面倒を良く見ていました。

私の知っている猫社会では大人猫は子猫に対して寛大でした。

だから大もきっと子猫（1歳）だった麦と椛に対して寛大なのだと思います。

最近では大と麦がよく行動を共にしているので、とてもほほえましく感じます。

Dai became a part of our family when he was older, so I feel that his wild style is still very much in him.

Dai turned up as a stray cat in my apartment building on June 21, 2018, and was later rescued by my daughter.

At the time, the veterinarian estimated that he was 3 to 4 years old, so his birthday was set as June 13, 2014.

Dai was an adult male cat when he came to live with us.

At that time, we had eight cats in our house, and all of them were female, except for Mugi, a kitten (1 year old).

Therefore, I was concerned that it would be difficult to keep Dai, a wild male cat, in such a situation.

I was also worried that the two male cats, Dai and Mugi, would get into a fight.

As expected, Dai and Umi didn’t get along well, so we decided to keep them in separate zones.

However, there were absolutely no problems with Dai and Mugi, so I was very relieved.

Ever since Dai came to our home, he has been taking good care of Mugi (male) and Momiji (female), who had just left their mother.

In the cat community I know, adult cats are tolerant of kittens.

That’s why I think Dai was so generous towards Mugi and Momiji, who were kittens at the time (1 year old).
