椛は体は小さいけど今年で7歳になりました。　Momiji may be small, but she turned 7 this year.

椛は体が小さいからいつまでも子猫だと思ってしまいますが、今年で7歳になります。

ネットで猫の年齢を調べると、猫の7歳は人間に換算すると44歳だそうです。（SBIいきいき少短参照）

椛ももうそんな年なんですね。

まあどんなに年取った猫でも子供のように感じます。

だからこれから先も同じように子猫だと思ってしまいますが、これからは健康にも注意してあげなければいけないのだなと思います。

家にいる最年長の猫は海です。

海は2013/8/15に我が家の家族になりました。

その当時の海は生後1カ月だったので、今年で11歳になりました。

人間の年に換算すると60歳なので、健康に十分配慮する必要があります。

そして私は今年65歳になってので、お酒の飲み過ぎには十分注意したいと思います。

The oldest cat in the house is Umi.

Umi became a member of our family on August 15, 2013.

Umi was only one month old at the time, so she turned 11 this year.

That equates to 60 years in human years, so Umi’s health needs to be taken seriously.
