ひめちゃんは双子姉妹の妹で、2004年11月に我が家の家族の一員になりました。

その当時はマンションの1階に住んでいて、ベランダの片隅に双子姉妹の姉に当たるさくらちゃんと一緒に寝ていました。

初めてひめとさくらを認識した時は、ベランダで寝ていたのに気付かなかったため不用意に近づいて、逃げてしまいました。

しかし、その2～3日後にはひめちゃんが家族となり、2週間後にはさくらちゃんも、家族になりましたが、さくらちゃんを保護するまでは、とても大変でした。

その当時、家には既に2匹の猫（ちーちゃんとなつくん）がいて、ガラス越しにひめとさくらがいる光景を度々目にするようになりました。

ひめちゃんは家に入りたいらしく、ママが洗濯物を干していると、足元にまとわりついてきて、保護した時も待ってましたとばかりに、何の抵抗も無しなかったので、早々に家の中に入れました。

しかし、さくらちゃんは用心深く、ベランダに出ると直ぐにいなくなるので、保護するのに時間がかかりました。

一度保護するチャンスがあったのですが、ママの手に噛みついて逃げてしまったため、怖がりの僕はもう止めようと言ったのですが、ママは姉妹でいるの一番良いんだ言って諦めませんでした。

そのことがあってからは、近くにいる気配はあるのですが、なかなか姿を現さず放っておく訳にもいかないので、ベランダに簀の子で小屋を作り餌を置いて、保護するチャンスを待ちました。

その後のことはあまり記憶にありませんが、さくらちゃんもひとりが寂しかったらしく、程なく保護した気がします。

あれから15年経ちました。ひめちゃんもさくらちゃんも元気です。

長生きして欲しいと思います。

However, it was very difficult until we protected Sakura-chan.

There were already two cats (Chi-chan and Natsu-kun) at home, We have come to see the sight that Hime-chan and Sakura-chan are over the glass often.

Hime-chan wants to go into the house, and when my wife is drying the clothes, it clings to her feet, Even when we protected, Hime-chan was waiting, and there was no resistance, so we put it in the house early.

However, Sakura-chan was cautious, and as soon as we came out on the veranda, it took a long time to protect her.

We had a chance to protect Sakura-chan once, but because she bited into the hand of her wife and fled, I was scared I told my wife to stop protecting it.

But, the wife said that it was best for the sisters to be together, she didn’t give up protecting it.

After that, there is a sign that Sakura-chan is nearby, but because Sakura-chan does not readily appear and can not leave it alone, We made a wooden hut on the veranda, put on food and waited for a chance to protect Sakura.

I do not remember much after that, but it seems that it was so lonely that Sakura was alone, and I felt that we protected soon.

15 years have passed since then.

Hime-chan is also fine with Sakura-chan.
